L'interview in english : (parce que bon, j'sais pas vous, mais j'ai du mal à tout comprendre  mouarf)
Rove: They have ammassed over 15 ARIA's have finally combined their powers for good instead of evil, to form The Dissociatives. This is their debut album Rove holds up album it's out now, welcome to the program ... Paul Mac and Daniel Johns.
Audience Cheering
Daniel comes through the door skipping and waving his arms about, and Paul walks in casually, Daniel then goes up to Rove and gives him a massive hug, and then proceeds to wave a big Hello to the Audience while Paul gives Rove a hug also, and they both sit down on the sofa. Daniel leans forwards and grabs a handful of Jellybeans out of the big bowl Rove has on the table and shoves them in his mouth, some fall out into his lap, the whole time Daniel is eyeing Rove, not taking his eyes off him and the Audience begins laughing
Rove: You look, your, your spritely, look at you, your bounding around, so much energy. I trust things must be going well.
Daniel is still chewing away on the Jelly Beans
Daniel: Banana, Vanilla, Grape ... like some blue ... got an aqua type flavour.
Rove: laughing Aqua Flavour
Daniel: Want one
Offers Rove and then Paul some Jelly Beans from his hand, they take one each
Rove: I do, I'll get I think a popcorn one ... nice, good bean.
Daniel then gets up and grabs the big dish of Jelly Beans and proceeds to walk to the Audience and offers then around to everyone, Audience is laughing
Rove:Isn't he generous, look at that *Audiences goes 'Aww'* that's what makes Dan the Man ... while Daniel's playing ... ah, generous host.
Audience is still laughing
Rove: Tell me how it is? How did all of this happen?
Paul: Umm ...
Rove: First tell me if I'm getting it right? *Rove's trying to pronouce it* Dissociatives
Paul: This time you got it right
Rove: Dissociatives, there we go
Paul: Dissociatives, yeah, ahh...
Rove: How did you?, How did this, how did this come? I know you guys have worked together before but the group, how did this, how did this happen?
Daniel returns and places the dish back on the table, then continues to step Over the table and sits down, the Audience is laughing, and Daniel then does the peace sign
Paul: It's hard to answer when you have like a live lollipop handing out lollies to everyone, We've been working together for a couple of years and it just sort of felt like the time to you know, try and do something together. Like do a real album, put a band together, have some fun.
Rove: Cause this isn't a side project is it Daniel? It's, it's a real thing?
Daniel: No it's for real, definitely, we're really passionate about it and love the music and love the the ... um, intention behind it all. So ... it's not a side project, it's just another, another ... Jelly Bean in the bowl.
Audiences laughs
Rove: So, so what does this mean? Groups like you know Destiny's Child, they spl- breakup. Well, not breakup, take time apart to do their own thing and the idea of a group like them getting back together seems like it's not gonna happen now.
Daniel: Well, it's funny you should say that, cause we often reference ourselves to Destiny's Child *Daniel then picks up a Jelly Bean from the floor and eats it* I consider myself more the ... ah, Beyonce
Rove: Yeah
Daniel: *points to Paul* He's more the Kelly
Audience is still laughing
Rove: But is this, does this mean we won't see Silverchair doing an album, will Paul Mac?
Paul: I'm splitting Paul Mac up
Rove: You'll never work with Paul or Mac again?
Paul: *Shaking his head side to side* Nuh nuh
Rove: Will you do another solo album? Will Silverchair do another album together?
Daniel: We're all, we're just like a folder with, that's entitled 'Options'. Within that title there's a title with 'Options' with many 'Options'
Everyone's laughing
Daniel: *DAniel waves his hand in the air* ... Continue
Audience laughs harder, and Rove cracks up
Rove: He is a man of mystery, But what I mean is were you and the boys just taking a break and you'll get back together at some point?
Daniel: Yeah, no, we're just, we're taking a break and we're all still friends and I still love em and they still love me ... *in a small voice to himself* maybe ...but yeah, it's all good.
Rove: Excellent
Daniel: We're ready to be friends as soon as I get back and we're gonna be best mates.
Rove: Now of coarse when everyone hears about The Dissociatives, the first thing I'm sure that they think of is, ah, is the film clip, and, and the album covers got great artwork on it *The film clip begins showing* Ah, how did this come about> Is it um, hows it created? is it going to a studio and filming all these different looks and faces?
Paul: It's so cool, normally with a video, um, your in there for 2 days in a row or a really long day and filming forever. But with this one it's sort of like for about 4 hours and he takes about 3 months to animate it. But he just does stuff like stand their and 'OK there's a giant wasp flying at you now...React!' and I was like 'Eh...ah...ah.eh...*Paul is ducking around and making strange faces* That's all ya gotta do, just be an idiot for 4 hours and he edits it all back together.
Daniel: Yeah, it's hard
Paul: Makes us look amazing.
Rove: Did you, did you get pretty spun out when you saw it for the first time?
Paul: Totally
Daniel: Yeah we were so excited *Shakes head and then slaps hand on his knee* The kids are gonna luv this one *Audience laughs* I just knew it
Rove: Just feel it
Daniel: Instinctivly just like having done this for many years I just knew I was like 'Kids - Yes!'
Audience still laughing
Rove: Now you sonny-jim, I, last time I saw you, you were a single man. How is married life going?
Daniel: It's good, it's just like being single but you've got a wife
Audience cracks up
Rove: Now I've heard you might be moving to London, you and Natalie are gonna move to London, is this true? I mean she's been working there anyway
Daniel: Yeah, we live in Windsor and it's really nice and we luv it there, but I also spend alot of time here because all my friends are here and this is where I work so...
Rove: Excellent
Daniel: ... I like Windsor and I like Australia
Rove: I'm happy to hear that, now the boys are about to preform for us so I'll let you head across to the band area.
Daniel: Thanks *begins outting in ear plug things*
Rove: Give you a bit of time to put these ear things that have got to be plugged in. Give a round og appalause for being with us Paul Mac and Daniel Johns ... now this is gonna be good.
